End of Year Reflections from the Curl Chair
As we reach the end of another beautiful, busy year I find myself pausing with a full heart. I have spent the past twelve months shaping curls, supporting scalps, guiding routines, creating colour plans, building content, sharing stories, and cheering on every client who has trusted me with their natural texture. When I look back at everything we have done together I feel nothing but gratitude. This year has been one of constant growth. My chair has been fully booked month after month and that is something I never take for granted. Every single appointment has been a reminder that people are choosing me, choosing my expertise, choosing my salon, and choosing to invest in the health and beauty of their curls. To every client who joined the waitlist with patience, to every person who travelled to see me, to every returning face and every new one, thank you. You are the reason my work feels meaningful. We have talked texture, porosity, hydration, products, scalp health, colour safety, seasonal changes, and everything in between. I hope you have felt supported every step of the way. As we step into the holiday season, here are a couple of golden nuggets to keep your curls thriving while life gets busier and the partying is in full swing. First give your curls a moisture boost before any big night out. A simple deep conditioning session can make your festive styling look twice as good and last twice as long. Second protect your curls from friction during all the cozy sofa time. A satin pillowcase or bonnet can save you from that morning tangle spiral but a silk scarf over the back of the sofa will protect them on those cozy Christmas movie days. Whilst his year has been full, joyful, challenging in the best way, and incredibly rewarding there has also been much sadness for our family. I just want to take a moment to thank all the wonderful ladies who supported me and showed such kindness when I sadly lost my Dad a couple of months ago. Again, THANK YOU for trusting me, supporting my work, and allowing me to grow. I am excited for everything we will create together in the year ahead. May your holidays be gentle, warm, and full of good curldays. With love and gratitude
